Refund Policy

At Black Box Entertainment & Hospitality, we take pride in delivering high-quality, professional services for your special events. We understand that sometimes plans change, and we strive to accommodate our clients as fairly and transparently as possible. This Refund Policy outlines the terms and conditions for refunds and cancellations for the following services: DJ Services, Bartending Services, Wait Staff Services, Photo Booth Services, Photography Services, and Limousine Services.

1. Booking & Deposit Policy

  • A non-refundable deposit of $100 or 25% (whichever is greater) of the total service cost is required at the time of booking to secure your event date and time.

  • The remaining balance is due 7 days prior to the event unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.

  • Bookings made less than 7 days before the event require full payment at the time of booking.
     

2. Cancellation & Refund Guidelines

We understand that unexpected situations can occur. Our cancellation policy is as follows:

  • More than 30 days before the event: You may cancel your booking for a refund of all payments made, minus the non-refundable deposit.

  • 15–30 days before the event: You will receive a 50% refund of the total amount paid, excluding the non-refundable deposit.

  • 14 days or less before the event: No refund will be issued.
     

3. Rescheduling Policy

  • You may reschedule your event one time, free of charge, provided you give at least 14 days’ notice and the new date is available.

  • Rescheduling within 14 days of the event is subject to a rescheduling fee of $100 and is subject to availability.

  • If your event cannot be rescheduled due to our availability, standard cancellation terms will apply.
     

4. Service-Specific Considerations

  • DJ Services: No refunds will be issued once the DJ has performed at your event, regardless of dissatisfaction. However, we welcome feedback and will work to resolve any concerns.

  • Bartending & Wait Staff Services: Refunds will not be issued for guest no-shows or lower-than-expected attendance.

  • Photo Booth Services: If the photo booth becomes non-operational during your event due to technical issues on our end, a partial refund or credit may be issued based on the downtime.

  • Photography Services: All delivered images are final. Refunds will not be issued for subjective dissatisfaction with the style or content of images. If the photographer is unable to perform services due to illness or emergency, we will provide a qualified replacement or offer a full refund.

  • Limousine Services: Refunds will not be issued for delays caused by traffic, road closures, or weather conditions. If we fail to provide transportation as booked, a full or partial refund will be issued depending on the extent of the service failure.
     

5. Force Majeure

In the case of unforeseen circumstances beyond our control (e.g., natural disasters, acts of God, pandemic-related restrictions, or government mandates), we will work with clients in good faith to reschedule the event or provide credit for future use. Refunds will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
 

6. No-Show Policy

If the client fails to appear or cancels on the day of the event without prior notice, no refund will be issued.
 

7. Dispute Resolution

If you are unsatisfied with any service provided, please contact us within 72 hours of your event to discuss your concerns. We are committed to addressing issues promptly and professionally.
